Crochet Websites

Sometimes searching for things on google can be very overwhelming. I have a few sites that I like to check out before performing a random search for crochet patterns.

The four main websites that I recommend for free (and some paid) crochet patterns are Yarnspirations, Ravelry, Lion Brand, and All Free Crochet.

Yarnspirations

Yarnspirations is a website dedicated to yarn crafts including crochet. They are dedicated to inspiring making, as seen on their homepage.

With a skein of yarn and some simple tools, you create more than socks, blankets, or hats; you create beloved family heirlooms that will be passed from generation to generation.

Yarnspirations.com

I LOVE this part of crochet. My mom taught me how to crochet, and my Grandma taught her, and I cannot wait for my daughters to be old enough to teach the craft!

Yarnspirations offers a lot more than just free patterns, but this is the main thing that I look for there. They do also offer the “kit” to purchase for the patterns, which can be very convenient if you want to go for an all-in-one purchase!

Ravelry

Ravelry.com is a great resource for crochet patterns. I love the search options available on their site! There is a LOT of variety of both free and paid-for patterns.

They also offer other services such as their “Notebooks” section where you can keep track of your products or your “Stash!” If you have a yarn stash, you may want to utilize this feature. Then you can even search for patterns based on the yarn in your stash.

Lion Brand

Lion Brand is similar to Yarnspirations in that they offer free patterns, but you can also purchase all of the materials needed for that pattern right when you click on it. This is a brand-specific site, so you will only get Lion Brand yarns.

They also offer many resources including tutorials, blogs, and community pages.

All Free Crochet

All Free Crochet is just what it sounds like. A bunch of Free crochet resources! Mostly patterns, but also videos, eBooks, and some tutorials.

This site can be a little bit overwhelming because there is a lot going on, but it does have great options for free patterns if you are willing to dig a little bit!

So that about wraps it up. These are some of my favorite websites for free crochet resources! I hope this round-up helps you out!
